Sheffield Hallam: Taking on the climate crisis on the doorstep

  • Crookes Social Club Mulehouse Road Sheffield, England, S10 United Kingdom (map)

Want to campaign for Labour but don't feel confident on the doorstep?
Want a refresher on Labour's Green Industrial Revolution pledges?
Want to start campaigning for the best candidate on climate justice in Sheffield?

Then come join us from 11am this Saturday at Crookes Social Club! ✊

From 11am - 1pm Sheffield Labour for a Green New Deal will be running a Climate Justice 101 workshop, to bring activists and supporters up to speed with Labour's current manifesto pledges and green credentials, and how to talk about climate justice to friends, colleagues, and voters alike in an open and accessible way.

Afterwards, we'll be heading out into Crookes to voters about the climate, Olivia Blake, the fantastic future MP for Sheffield Hallam, and why Labour is the only party with a serious plan to tackle the climate crisis. Don't worry if you haven't been campaigning before, as you can be paired up with a more seasoned activist! (and if you want to come just for canvassing then please join us at Crookes Social Club at 1pm!)
